After another delightful dinner at Threehaus-chicken chili and cornbread-with Dan (incidentist) and Gabby and Sarah and Jason, I was introduced to the most amazing Tim Curry performance of all time.

For some ungodly reason, in addition to owning Gummi Bears on DVD, Gabby owns The Worst Witch, a terrible made-for-TV movie adaptation of a book about a Hogwarts

The Worst Witch is amazing! I loved it when I was 8 and it first came out.

I'd never heard of it until Neil Gaiman embedded a clip in his journal on Halloween a few years ago. His daughter Holly loved it as a child.

Tim Curry can do no wrong, imo. Even in crappy movies, he's wonderful! Because he's Tim Curry! And THEN, when he's in something good, HE'SAMAZINGOHMYGOD-

As he would say: oh absolutely. What I love about this clip is how he commits to the crappiness, thus transcending it with his TimCurry-ness.

So true. His TimCurry-ness makes it so he can rise above - er - giant pink cloaks and bat bow ties. His vocals are actually creepy and weird, which is AWEsomeness!
