Stop Promoting Me Pastries

Today, I headed into the city to check out the mobile Pie Hole for the Pushing Daisies Touch of Wonder Tour. And I intended to post about it, but I realized I never wrote about my trip to the Kwik-E-Mart last year! You may remember that, to promote The Simpsons Movie, a dozen 7-11s across the country were converted into Kwik-E-Marts. Luckily, one ( Read more... )

Aw, too bad you didn't get any pie. The pies on that show looks so delicious that I'm sure any freebie pies they were handing out would have been a letdown anyway. So maybe it's best that you continue to long for Pie Hole pie ;)

I loved Wonderfalls. I've never even heard of Dead Like Me, though. I may have to check that out myself.

My brother works near Washington DC and there was one of those Kwik-E-Mart 7-11s. He brought home a box of Krusty-Os, some pink-glazed donuts and a couple cans of Buzz Cola and lots of pictures of the place. Totally fun.

It was on Showtime. It's about reapers whose job it is to take people's souls before they die in hilarious Rube Goldbergian ways. And it stars Mandy Patinkin. It's great.

It was a pretty good show. I have a whole bunch of episodes of it saved on the hard drive of my media box that I was going to watch, until the media box keeled over and died.

spatulas come in all sizes. Trust me - that's a spatula. It's a good size to have if you're trying to get sticky stuff out of a small measuring cup.

Thank you! I was reading through all the comments, thinking that surely someone would tell him it's a spatula! Heh.
