Nice use of the word rabid right there. Heh.

I was just listening to The Wombats on Sunday night while driving to Tuttle, and I was thinking that if I saw them live and they were fun and quirky, then I would probably really really like their stuff. One of those groups where the personalities make a whole nice music package. Like Flight of the Conchords!

Yeah, the Wombats were very fun live, and I am definitely more inclined to like them and check them out now.

Damn, that sounds like fun. Too bad about the fish tacos, though. Take comfort in the fact that you can at least find them there.

Cynda has graciously loaded just about every bit of music she has onto my computer so I can now check out the Wombats. Yay!

At least your crowd was actually into the Indigo Girls. When we went to see them last fall in Dallas, the crowd was full of The Assholes. You may be familiar with The Assholes. They are the ones who, for example, tell people to sit down during the shows. (And use their most asshole voice to do it.)

I am totally jealous that you saw the Wombats. (You probably remember discussion about them from the last time DT hosted the Friday Night Project. The DT fangirls had to share this discovery with the wombat fangirl.)
