June is here and I've been sent my assignments for two of my three writing challenges.  Woot.  I'm pretty happy with what I've been assigned.  Now I just have to get motivated and actually write it. :P  I'm feeling good about this. :D

I've had a crappy couple of days wasting a bunch of time at speicalist clinics and being uncomfortably poked and prodded for something that isn't a problem but needs to be confirmed as offically 'nothing to worry about'.  It was exhausting and very expensive.

Random update:
We got a dog yesterday.  She's goregous and she loves us.  I mean LOVES us.  Being with her isn't enough, you have to pat her the entire time.  She was a rescue dog and I think she's just really enjoying not being neglected.  Hopefully she'll settle soon.  My cat's a little pissed off but dealing with it all much better than expected.

Spent the day with ai_no_himitsu  today.

We went  to the Buddha Birthday Festival at SouthBank and checked out all the markets.  So much food! And Chinese Pancakes full of chocolatey goodness.  We seem to have a knack for arriving just in time to see the performances ending.

Then we went to watch Kick Ass at the movies.  That is a very entertaining movie.  ( Read more... )

As of three and a half hours ago I FINALLY hit my summer holidays!
No more school 'til Feburary~
And I leave for Japan in one week~
And this makes me all sorts of giddy happy~
