This was so beautiful and hopeful! I fell in love with your story since the very first chapter. I'm so glad you found a way to make Elizabeth come back; that's finally a credible closure for her character, a fantastic happy end. And the music you posted to accompany each chapter was bringing both melancholy and hope, which perfectly suited their atmosphere (or so I believe). You brought happiness in my Sparky fan life again with this final chapter. Thank you for posting such beautiful stories!

Thank you so much for such lovely words. I'm so very incredibly proud of this story and to hear people call it things like 'beautiful' makes me just a little gushy. Thank you so much. (And I love Enya SO MUCH, she's my soundtrack to so many things, but particularly this and Terry Goodkind's 'Faith of the Fallen')

And that you think it's credible. Thank you, so very very much. I appreciate that more than you know.

Heeeeee! You posted it!!! I love it! I love that you didn't show Elizabeth coming back, but rather the day of Meredith's birth!

That was such a lovely story! I loved it so much!!

And Gillian! *giggles* You just had to! lol

I did post it! LOL. Yes. And I'm so sorry that it took so long. There really is not excuse. But I'm so happy that it's up now. That people liked it. With all the reviews, I suppose I was just so scared that this ending wasn't enough. That it needed more. That it was too simple, to gentile. I don't know. I just worried about it. That it just wasn't going to be enough.

But I'm so happy that you enjoyed it.

Oh yeah, and the Gillian thing. I couldn't help it, hehe. (And you know, weirdly enough...if you squint at the timeline, it could be THAT Gillian...technically, -ish...)

Oh my darling, this is so PERFECT! How can something make me cry and make me happy at the same time? I can't even type right.

That's the perfect circle, sweetie, my absolutely favorite thing in story telling. I thought you were going to give us something John/Elizabeth heavy but how perfect is this?? It's so fitting and Meredith just deserves it and I think this, this is the only right way to end this story. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Nothing could be more symbolic, in the best possible way.

And how much I love that John and Elizabeth had their happiness. This line: because you'd given birth to Gillian out of a want to have as many children with John as your body could stand - it just tells so many things about what their relationship was/is like. And I love that; that kind of unselfish, devoted love and giving. And after what Elizabeth has been through, it rings true.

And then these bits here -

Nothing could be more symbolic, in the best possible way. - I was so worried about that. I was worried people were going to want something J/E heavy. But I realised that I don't like that, in competition with something subtly beautiful. I like things to be simple, like the image of John playing with Meredith's toes and just...trusting Elizabeth's judgement. That, to me, is far more beautiful than snogging. There really isn't a comparison (and I really need you to get through all the LTM eps so I can share with you, EXACTLY WHAT EFFING BEAUTIFL IS! Seriously, you'll be floored ( ... )

*is a puddle of goo* That's adorable! It really is. And so very very beautiful. A very fitting ending this story.

Does this fic have a master post? I shall like to ♥ it.

Thank you SO MUCH!

And a master post? Not really. But this post, even though it's the very last chapter, has links to all the previous chapters, if you like. And they're all fairly close together on this comm...so if you scroll through, I'm not so prolific that there are huge gaps between the chapter posts. So, you can pretty much see one striaght after each other. (But yeah, this post has links to all chapters)

Sigh, what an amazing, heart wrenching, full circle story! A unique ending to a truly unique story. I've read this chapter far too fast (I was so excited to see it posted, I gobbled it up!) SO, I will have to go back and re-read it with much more time and care....hmmm perhaps I'll start over at Chapter 1 and read the whole thing in one sitting! :-)

THANK YOU for giving Elizabeth a happy ending!

You know what? Not to toot my own horn or anything, this is just honesty here, it's probably best to actually do that (read it over again, from the start) because in the ending chapter here, I've tried to tie a lot back in. There are a lot of references to previous chapters and tie-ins and parallels and I just feel that, to get the full concept of that, it might be better to look over it freshly, with everything fresh in your mind.

Thank so much for enjoying this though. I'm so glad you liked it! And that you've stuck with it.
