"Ah, The Mighty Chipmunk - Fearless, Cunning and sworn enemy of the Mord'Sith"

I felt like doing a recap on 'Legend of the Seeker' episode Dark because, I don't know why. But I just felt in the mood to start re-capping stuff. *shrugs* Sharing is caring and LotS is LOVE so...when you spin that around and shake it up, I suppose it's really just a huge - "I love you guys!!" - So, actually, on second thought...perhaps I need a ( Read more... )

I loved the Cara/Kahlan scene. Actually, I like all of their scenes, they work really well together.

OMG, the chipmunks, lol. I don't think that's going to ever get old. I suppose they had to make him adorable, to make up for the fail of his introduction. They brought him in too fast, I say. But that's alright, they redeemed themselves.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who didn't hate this episode. I mean, there was certainly some questionable bits but that's just par for the LOTS course :P I love the ladies being kickass but it's nice to see them casual every once in awhile. Seeing Cara laugh kinda freaked me out, but I agree with you that it was just crack in her shell.

I was beginning to question whether I should post this or not, considering the dislike that seemed to be spreading about the ep. But I'm glad that I'm not alone in my thinky-thoughts. Yeah, bits were questionable, but that happens...and i've noticed that some people pick on the strangest, inconsequential things. *shakes head*

*smacks head* I just read through my first comment and found like 10 grammatical errors. Yeah, I'm tired. Anyway...

I'm glad you did post this. I'll admit that I'm not an avid LOTS fan but I do enjoy it for what it is. Most of what I've seen posted has been positive so I was pretty surprised to see this episode panned so much. I liked the Cara/Kahlan bits, was amused by the Cara/Leo moments, and understood why Richard was willing to trust the Sisters of the Dark *shrugs*

Great picspam :)
Leo totally got better as the ep went on, even though I still dont know how I feel about him. Maybe I'm afraid to get too attached considering he's not going to be a regular cast member. I'm excited to see what happens next weeek!!!

I've decided that I'm not going to dislike him. He's not so special right now, but for the chipmunk-protection-detail but I think he's nothing to worry about. The only reason I'd dislike him was if he was muscling in on Kahlan, threatening the Richard/Kahlan epic-love-story or being really annoying. So far, he's done none of those things, so he's sitting pretty for now. And he's a little more ruggedly handsome than Richard is, so while I'm attached to Richard...I do find the scruffier ones better looking. Although, Richard's really scruffed up tihs season, so i'm leaning more that way. GAH *holds head* Too much thinking and rambling, sorry about that, lol.

(LOVE your Mick icon, well, love Mick...lol)

LOL Chipmunk protection detail. Yeah, we'll see how he fares in the next ep :)

OMG I love and miss Mick (and Moonlight) to this day. Sighs. Stupid CBS.

I really liked your recap. Also, I don't think the ep is as hated as the impression of it might seem. Most of the response I've seen has been positive, with only a few naysayers sprinkled in ( ... )

Oh, I know, hehe. And I know it wasn't away from Kahlan specifically. I was just being a douche. By default, they're keeping him away from Kahlan, but not out of any malice towards their relationship but for their want and need to protect the greater good. I get that. I know that.

And I don't blame the sisters either, just Nicci, but it was fun to write this. I left a lot out, but I totally get what you're talking about there. ;)
