Movie Review: Water For Elephants

Note: My mood has more to do with my idiot mother, not the movie itself. She's getting on my nerves as usual. (And normally, I'd hate to call her an idiot but at this moment, I could care less). Luckily, she wasn't able to distract my thoughts on the movie.

I saw this movie today and I'm been looking forward to it for MONTHS. I really enjoyed it and it lived up to expectations. I never read the book, but I plan to.

Now I like Reese Witherspoon but I felt she was completely wrong for this role
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THIS YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. It's one of the first things I said to my sister when we got out of the theatre. She just seemed off or something whenever she had to say words. :p Do you know if her character is supposed to be older than Jacob?

She's actually supposed to be younger than him (or so that's what I heard book readers say), which is another reason I found Reese all wrong for the role. A lot of times she looked so old. I didn't know if it was the lighting or makeup or what but she was showing her age in it. :/ And for a romance story, her and Rob's chemistry was blah. Rob had better chemistry with everyone but her.

I have to read the book as well but a few snippets of it make it sound dull. Oh well, I'll try to get htrough it.
