It's 30 days of television! Whoo! Television meme galore!
A meme that's going around, I thought it would be fun to do and see what grabs me for each day. :D
So, Day 01 - A show that should have never been canceled: Mercy is an ensemble drama set in the fictional Mercy Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. The show focuses on the lives of three nurses. Veronica Flanagan Callahan is a nurse who has just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, while Sonia Jimenez, her best friend, has become seriously involved with a police officer; and Chloe Payne, a recent nursing graduate who is thrown into the world of nursing and is unprepared for what it entails.
Mercy reminded me of MASH a little bit, but it's about nurses, not doctors and it's wackiness while trying to be serious at times. A wonderful cast and it just appealled to me. It only lasted this year for 22 eps and I thought it would get renewed for a second season, but unfortunately for the Powers that Be, it was not so.
