Jim is an adorable kind of obnoxious though, and Penny is adorable, so it works in my head.

(Also, I wouldn't say no to some Sheldon!Spock/Leonard!Bones....)

(I'm afraid I'm a bit of a Penny/Sheldon shipper so whatever happened I'd probably be rooting for that pairing, whoever's body they were inhabiting. Lol.)

(I really like Penny & Sheldon but not in a pairing. Sheldon is pretty much asexual for me, whcih works because I see Spock the same way--hotter than hot kiss with Uhura nonwithstanding--)

Not what you are looking for pairing-wise (although there is a hint of unrequited Kirk/McCoy), but there is an adorable Kirk/Sulu BBT AU that has Spock!Sheldon, Bones!Leonard and Jim!Penny here.

(I'm a crazy Kirk/Sulu shipper, so... yeah.)

I think I've decided that Scotty is Howard, Sulu is Raj and Chekov is Bernadette, and we'll have some Sulu!Raj/Chekov!Bernadette action going on. :-D

(Alternatively, Jim could pull off a hilarious Howard type, even if I want him cast as Penny...)
