Pretty pretty! I agree that the crisp pleats are in line with the material.

I wish I'd made the pleats more *regular*, but I stitched them in place after draping and before deciding to press! Maybe next time :-)

I'm glad you like it though. I'm thinking of exploring (in my spare time) more about jackets and tailoring and so on. Underlining and padding and such really interests me.

I loves it. I had made a bolero the other day with a pre pleated border, but this is way more fun! I like standing collars. Immagin it with you hair put up! Bolero's are great with corsets, because they do not over up the corset and still give a bit of modesty/classe.

That's exactly what I thought, hair piled high and a gorgeous corset too! I'm quite chuffed with how it's coming, though there's things I would do differently (as always). I do love standing collars though, I'm quite keen to make myself one of these now that I know what I'm doing :-)
