I know. I mean, it's not like I think you should go around showing off your underwear, but if they see it by accident it's not like, ohmygod horrible. :/ MAYBE WE'LL JUST NEVER KNOW.

It's just a cultural thing. Lingerie has a different social stigma attached to it. Normal everyday underwear? Not so different from bathing suits. Lingerie? Slightly different because it's made (and usually worn) with sex in mind.

I personally don't think that it's that big of a deal, having people see me in my underwear, but everyone has varying levels of things they're comfortable with, y'know?

Mmm, that's a good point. But honestly these days, some people's everyday underwear might as well be called lingerie. I have never understood how people can be comfortable wearing like, underwear that was practically designed to give you a wedgie.

Yeah, definitely. But sometimes it's not even yourself in your underwear, it's someone on TV or something. Though I guess that'd have to do with a underwear-on-TV-equals-sexytiems sort of thing.
