The need to call out homophobia

One of the many many things about homophobia that make me rage is how readily tolerated it is - and how ready people are to excuse it, defend it and deny it.

While there will be people who do react in that equivalent manner, they are generally few and far between. I think there is a lot of anger that non-GBLTs don't get and don't see the depth of it - or the depth of the hurt and it can be seen that way. But the number opf GBLTs who rush off in fury over very very slight things? Aren't all that common. It's unfortunate that they exiost, that they have been hurt and scarred so much that they resort to this - but I am far more leery of policing already marginalised people about reigning in anger and expresson in the face of offence and pain ( ... )

It's always so embarrassing when you realize your clincher is grammatically ambiguous in a way that makes you paranoid. The first "that" after the parenthesis should read "this."

I try to intervene as little as possible on my journal and I think most comment threads have the potential for learning and exploration, it becomes whether the aggravation to the parties and anyone else reading is worth it for the sake of the information exchange.

This thread has been treading the line for a while I don’t think that there is going to be advancement here, instead I think devolving further is more likely.

I'd watch it more closely, but I’m going away for a few days and won’t be able to intervene should it devolve further, so I am taking the precaution of freezing it now
