AWWWW, BB! Congrats to you and Palmer. Good luck planning the wedding; everyone I know who has done it wanted to tear their hair out at one point or another. Stay cool and remember, you can always just elope!

Thank you! We're going to do our best to keep it low stress. Obviously, that won't always be possible, but I'm hoping we can at least refrain from full on break downs.

Sadly elopement isn't an option- my sister eloped, and I think my mom would kill me if I did as well!

First off, thank you! Once we start planning, I will definitely take you up on your offer- our plan is to ask for advice from all our friends who've already been through this, and I think that having someone to commiserate with as its happening will be life (or at least sanity) saving.

And yes, I've been trying to make my resolutions more into goals- its ok if I don't quite succeed, but its something to aim for. I don't know that I'll be able to read a book a week, but having that on my mind will at least encourage me to read a book rather than surf the internet, you know?

Exactly! Although with apps like "instapaper" you can save things for offline reading and I've discovered some really amazing productivity and food blogs that I do try to keep up with on a regular basis.... but reading books = super.

Do you have an e-reader?

I do, and I have Kindle on my phone as well. That's where Les Mis resides, and I've been trying to read a bit of that each day (like 20 pages).

I read plenty, believe me- I just wanted to get back into the habit of reading books, not just the internet. :-P

Thank you very much! We're really psyched, and even though wedding planning sounds atrocious, I'm hopeful of our continued sanity. :)

You guys. YOU GUYS. This is the second time I've read this news and it's still squee-worthy.

Frankly you guys always sorta struck me as married (you're comfortable with yourselves and each other, you're kind, you laugh about the same stuff, etc.) you're just celebrating what you already knew with everyone you know. Best wishes for many more happy years together. :)
