Oh boo on the fracture! You can at least still do upper-body stuff though - there are all sorts of body-weight exercises you can do at home that definitely also get your heart rate up :)

I'll probably try that out. I just can't do treadmill or elliptical like I've been doing. :(

I would be very careful about attempting yoga depending on what asanas you are aiming for...I've got something going on with my foot (hopefully xrays on Fri and referral scheduled next week), and unfortunately for me, yoga makes the foot pain worse. Just be careful! :)

Yeah, you're probably right. I was mostly trying to think of some low-impact exercises that wouldn't mess with my feet. I thought of yoga because I could do most of the Sun Salutation, with a bit of modification to spare my feet. But, idk. I might just give myself some time off until my foot doesn't feel like stiff lead. :-P

Ouch! I've never fractured anything before but that can't be too fun. Also, it sucks that it's cutting into your exercise plans. That's better than it being broken though, right?

Congrats on the weight loss! :)
I was watching a documentary yesterday that made me want to eat a bit healthier, but it involves me buying a juicer lol.

Definitely be careful with yoga and the fracture. It's good that you still want to get some exercise in, but you're probably better off waiting for it to heal first so that there's not more damage in the long run. (/pretending to have any sort of legit medical knowledge)

It is not super fun, and it doesn't help that I'm already sick of the couch! I think for the toes, it doesn't make a huge difference whether it is fractured or broken, there isn't much they can do either way.

Thank you! I'm excited, though its hard to not regress back to eating the junk food I love so much. If you're interested in eating healthier, I'd say don't jump into anything drastic, but start incorporating more fruits and veggies into your diet, as well as fewer highly-processed foods.

And yeah, I think I'll probably avoid yoga until I'm better. It just sucks that I'm laid out because of a toe, yeah?

That sucks being stuck on the couch...my only recommendation is lots of books/movie rentals to pass the time!

Yeah, I'm not looking to completely change how I eat at once or do a juice fast or something extreme like that, but I really like the idea of drinking my veggies/micro-nutrients since I don't do a good job of incorporating them into my diet currently. It would just be more of a supplemental thing, like some fresh veggie juice for breakfast instead of a chocolate chip eggo. :)
