I would recommend not taking it online, because I think it made an already hard subject more difficult and frustrating. The other recommendation is to remember that everyone sucks at statistics, and you won't inherently "get" it. Just work with the data and the equations you're given, don't try to intuitively figure it out, because you can't.

God, how I hate statistics.
