Wow.... I've been soooo slammed with work, that I haven't had a chance to post. Things are going really well. I'm very happy where I'm at. It's already the best job I've ever had. I think I have entered the realm of hell on earth. Saturday night, we stayed up playing poker and having fun. Went to bed around 3am and could not sleep. I think I finally fell asleep for about an hour and then I was wide awake and shaky. So, I forced myself to stay awake all day Sunday. No naps! Well, I finished the hat but I wasn't pleased with the pattern. I like the whole hat but the ending just wasn't what I expected. I am used to using the watchman cap pattern and that leaves you with a nice spiral pattern at the top of the head. This other pattern just had an immediate decrease which left pleats at the top. My package, from Hildie, arrived yesterday. One of the skeins had a huge tangled mess of yarn(I already knew this.. so it was expected) but I was able to untangle it and wind it all up within a half hour. It was pretty easy. I finished my father in law's scarf today. I did end up using the woolease that I swore I wouldn't use. Now that I've worked with it, I kind of like it. I'm thinking I might just grab another skein of mushroom and make the hat from that, after all. Why is it that I can get up and go to the bathroom every five minutes when I am home, but when I go in for a test, it's like trying to wring out the Sahara? I was so embarrassed today. As soon as I posted that last message, the manager called me. I got the position. She said my experiences were impressive, that the interview went perfectly and that she was going to place me on a team where I can be trained to be a team leader after my 9 month acclimation period. I start training on October 3rd!!!!! OMG I'm SOOOO HAPPY!!!

Okay, today, I finally had the interview. I think it went really well. Everyone was very friendly, and the managers were all dressed casually. That really made me feel very comfortable.
