THIS IS TOO CUTE. <3 the expression on Walter's face! And the Ozy/Com subtext was almost too much to ask for on top of all that other OTP goodness.

Twenty minutes later, he's feeling the warmth flood through his body and recognizes it for what it is.

"No, no, no! Stupid," he growls, but remembers to keep his voice low. "Must find Daniel..."

His legs disagree. He sinks into the nearest chair and scans the crowd. Two women dancing together -- scandalous! -- catch his eye. The redhead he recognizes -- it's Daniel's old flame, Leslie (he can't seem to recall her last name now), the Twilight Lady. The brunette reminds him of someone, but he can't place who. She's tall and pleasant and her smile is sweet when she casts a glance in his direction...

Adrian walks through Walter's line of sight and he can't help but follow him with his eyes. He's always known that Adrian's an attractive man, but it's never affected him like this before. Maybe he's just never let it. Maybe he's been wrong all this time, hating him for selling out...

Stupid! he repeats silently, and beats his head against the wall abruptly. The spike was drinked.
