Yeah, I agree with you. My feeling is that if he had played some of the talent that sat on the bench during the World Cup, there may have been a different result in the game against France. Not that I don't think the guys who did played badly, but when something isn't working, then make a substitution! Like you say, he doesn't seem to have a real strategy. And sometimes something seems wrong with Spain's attack. Not that I've seen all their games or anything. But it's just a feeling I have from the ones I did see.
I agree, too. The thing I really have against him is the Thierry Henry remark he made, ticked me off. Lots of coaches do it, but I don't like how he kept a majority of the same players from the WC for the qualifiers. Spain has some of the best players in the world, but there was something obviously wrong at the WC, and he didn't fix it, just kept playing it off. It almost seems like he puts a person in because of who they are, and then there's no new talent or chances for other players. But given the chance, I don't think he'd resign, he'll probably be forced into resigning.
He kind of reminds me of Bruce Arena of the U.S. national team, and Bruce got fired for the U.S.'s performance (also stuck to some of his favorites who were out of form). So yeah.
