that's really weird. especially since nobody has anything bad to say about xabi and cesc. i can deal with torres being out, his performance this year has been questionable whereas mori and villa have been a bit better(my opinion, even though i love torres) but how can you not put cesc and xabi in...

I really don't get why he's not putting in Cesc and Xabi...I mean I kinda understand the Cesc part(he seems really tired now, have you guys noticed?) although I still think he should be in. Ahhhhhh! Who knows with this crazy old dude...

I really just don't get his point? I am convinced he's dead inside. Just an empty shell which can't make any good decisions. He didn't even call up some other very good midfielders but that he won't even let Xabi and Cesc play is... total crap! Sometimes I just wish he loses!

Sides, I was so looking forward to Steven vs Xabi ;_;

Oh, you don't need to convince me. I've already committed violent acts against him in my mind. But I guess he wouldn't feel it either way. The senile, old fool.

*facepalm* I can't get over this. Stupid stupid Ara. Cesc and Xabi are two of the best midfielders. WTF is he thinking?

I think it may have more to do with Arsenal and Liverpool maybe not wanting their players playing the full 90 of a friendly. I know Wenger's got pretty ticked when Henry got played a full 90 during France's last friendly so I'm gonna give Arragones the benefit of the doubt and assume it's that. Though I'd love to see a good chunk of Xabi and Cesc playing :(

i do understand that because of risk of injury, wenger would be pissed. but aragones really needs to repair his image and spains image so how is this going to do it?

No idea lol but maybe he figures if he doesn't start them, he can sub them in later so they can help the team fight for the comeback? I guess we'll have to see tomorrow but goodness, I really hope that they do well!

read some rumors from sorta gossip column: "Aragones said if they lose, he'll resign..."

then, I don't know I wish they win or lose, for the adorable boys-- I hope they win; but if this a way we can get rid of Aragones...

You know what? He said that a thousand times already and he never leave when they lost previously.

Idk to believe it or not. Whatever it is, the boys have to win! We need to win! It's been so long since we win. =\ And if only it's possible to get a petition signed on Aragones getting replaced....
