I decided to make these next two desktop wall paper style (regular 16:9). They were both done with several of the technical production steps done differently. While the newer method doesn't seem to be any time savings, it is a little easier. So, here's a pair of steampunk-themed SL+PS images:
I decided to make an attempt at simulating depth of field in a Second Life photo. The effect is most obvious in an outdoor photo, but looses a little reality to uneven terrain. Still, it may be better than without the extra work. On the other hand, some completely bokeh background would be significantly easier.
The MiB movies were both humorous and memorable. As a small honorarium, as well as a mild pun, I'm taking the liberty to appropriate the iconic poster image.
This idea has been knocking around in my head for some time now. I'm still not sure that this is the best way to present it, but I'd rather post what I have than hold onto it for another 5 months.
Some people attribute the "mummy's curse" (not the Lon Chaney movie) to bacteria or mold spores lying dormant in the tombs, when quite clearly, the undead are simply vengeful.
