I picked up this little guy at my local Radioshack; the package says "Musicbot headphone
splitter".
Cute, right? But immediately, you can notice something amiss: he's chained, as if bonded into slavery, or an old-time criminal on the run.
That's not even the worst part. To use him as intended, you must first rip his head and spine from his body!
Oh no, the anti-robot training doesn't end there. Like a scene from Torquemada's dungeon, you must also pierce his eyes with metal plugs.
I for one, find this offensive and biased against robot-kind. It's as if the manufacturers wanted to train consumers that disassembling and torturing cute robots was the proper way to interact with them. I will stop short of demanding boycots, picketing or riots - but I wanted you to be aware that this intolerable attitude exists - is it in you?
