Speaking of thinking positive (ly?), I read about... two thirds of that book "The Power of Positive Thinking" and so far, it's not working so well. Perhaps the big secret is revealed in the last chapter, and I'm

I have not read Twilight. I had a momentary temptation to do so but have been talked out of it. I might watch the movie once it comes out on DVD. That's the most effort I can stand to make. I have a looong list of books to read, and I wanna get to the good ones!

You know, I love me some fluffy crap fiction. I mean, hook me up with some Ken Follet Medieval crap, and I won't leave my house for three days. But I just... I can't... Ugh, I give up. I'm too tired.
I agree with you about the inability to stop reading. Although, I think the only reason I made it through (with the exception of book two, of course) is because I had heard about the crazy-ass fourth book, and just thought... I probably can't live my life without reading that.
I already have plans to go to the movie. Those plans involve a bar immediately beforehand. This is gonna be FUN.

Now we can move on to retarded books.
I read the first two Twilight books, and after that I couldn't pretend it was a sick parody series anymore. And I only got that far because I imagined Edward making the face in my icon all the time.
I'm seeing the movie with a bunch of fellow comics majors the day after finals when we're already good and braindead. I'm not sure if we're going to get drunk before or after. But, this being Savannah, I can't rule out the possibility of during.

I wouldn't have made it, except I skipped the second book entirely, and really wanted to get to the rough vampire sex. Which faded to black, conveniently. Damn.
Yeah, my friend who I'm seeing the movie with (an English Lit major, I swear) says "So, I think we should bring those mini bottles of wine. Where can we get those?" So the answer for us is - drinks before, after, AND during. If you're going to go, go all out.

And thought I'd let you know - drinking before and during the movie has now turned into drinking before the movie, AND bringing cheese to snack on AND this:
