but yikes, that sucks. what I've gathered from the Americans I've spoken to about the 11th down there is that the poppy isn't such a huge thing?

I kind of assumed it was restricted to the Commonwealth, actually, before asking anyone. either way, the poppy campaign is huge in Canada, to the point where people are pretty much offended if they don't see you wearing yours. it's always been that way haha.
