I'm just going to go through the episode and see what I can remember. Basically, the whole thing was a huge flailyfest that had me giggling like a schoolgirl. ( Lots of spoilers and al;kdsf;fjhg )
Aaaah, I kind of wish they'd used a different plot -- the abused child in the basement = happy village plot is kind of overdone, and yes @ Cassandra's sudden change of heart.
The plot seemed a bit rushed, if anything, and I think it could've been better if they spent more time on it. Buuut the comedy and the acting and the beautiful special effects made up for any flaws. :D
The plot doesn't even need to be consistant or make any sense at all, rotfl. Just give me Ten & Ten/Rose and I will be HAPPY FOREVER. & EVER, & EVER, & EVER, ETC.
I loved it too :D I loved the funny lines, the brilliant acting by David and Billie, and the visual beauty of it all, which made up for any weak bits elsewhere. And episode 2 looks like it's going to be fantastic! Victorian Scotland, werewolves, and kung fu monks - who could ask for more :-D
