You already know that I really, really liked this. I appreciate how different it is.

Thank you so much! *blushes*

With this fic I've experimented a little bit while trying to find out how to write a plausible Sam/Maya in 2007 (the AU was inevitable).

Also, I think these poor characters deserve a little bit of happiness, after all they've been through... especially Sam, who is constantly being hurt/whumped/tortured/wounded/killed off in most of the other fics! ;)

This is just great! I love how you're able to say so much, but don't even use a scrap of dialogue. What an amazing style of writing you have here. And I love how you use the cooking to help reel Sam back into life. Just wonderful. (Yay for happy endings!)

*blushes like whoa*

Oh, thank you!!! So glad you liked it! I really wanted to make good use of Blanca's prompt, because I found it very interesting.

My style of writing is a bit 'strange' sometimes, but I like to challenge myself with difficult things. I hope it was not too difficult to read, though, given the fact that it's so unusual.
Moreover, English is not my first language, and I'm always worried that what I write turns out to be quite different from what I really mean to say...

You don't often see this point of view in a fic and I loved it. It was different, lovely and beautifully written.

Thank you! Glad you liked it. It was hard for me to write it (took me ages and a lot of re-writing), but I wanted to make it intense and somewhat believable, considering that it's an AU fic.

Uh, grasssieee! #^_^#

This was incredibly moving - normally, fic tends to sway towards reasons for Sam to leave 2006, not for reasons to stay there, but the way that you have Sam rationalizing everything, and the way that Maya comforts him, is just so beautiful, and so fitting... The ending was just marvelous, and really finished the fic well. Just beautiful - great fic.

Thanks so much for the lovely compliment. It means a lot to me, especially coming from a great fic writer like you! :)
