you know, i often wonder if the benefits afforded by living in a commercialized society are worth all the drawbacks.

i honestly don't think they are. but it's going to be nigh on impossible for me to a) escape from such a society, and b) survive in any other type of society, so it's really an inconsequential wonderment.

rick tompkins died last night.

apparently he drowned while he was out fishing.

this is weird.

in other news, i got antibiotics today, so hopefully i can start healing up some.
