Does this mean I'm an artist now?

I completely suck at coloring. I know this and yet I still color some of my manga icons anyway. They look like crap, but I do it. A couple days ago I finally decide to check out a tutorial on how to color manga scans and put this Photoshop that takes up so much space on my harddrive to good use. For my coloring exploits I decided to use D.Gray-man ( Read more... )

What? <3

You've been an artist since before I met you. And these are lovely.

A literary artist maybe, but now I feel like I'm an actual arteest~ Except I still can't draw to save my life. XD;

Thanks so much for the vote of confidence though! I now have the urge to recolor all of my Rayflo icons...since they are plain and not made of Photoshop awesome. ...I have no idea how I will find the time.

One word: icons.

I've heard it's an excellent practice to concentrate on right brain things like photoshopping and iconing. It stimulates the left brain, and overall complements your writing.

Hmm. Speaking of, I need to make icons myself. :)

That makes a lot of sense really. Stimulating one side of the brain to keep up by working with the other. Though I haven't written fic in...a long time. RP has taken over my writing. XD

I should fix that one of these days. It's October. Maybe I should seriously think about doing NaNoWriMo this year.

ICONS~ I have a commission (sort of) to do, I should probably get on that. When I'm done coloring this other Alma scan.
