My birthday is Tuesday so my birthday wish for u, is that it comes & goes fast so u can get back to solid food. Make sure u get something good afterward & let us @ LJ know how you're doing afterward. I have 3 more years to go before I have to get mine & I am so not looking forward to it.
The good news about this is Dr. P told me that when I have the surgery they'll probably be able to do quite a bit of corrective surgery on my crappy vision, so silver lining, etc.
Nods. Btw, if you can afford it there's a better lens that the standard one but Blue Cross doesn't cover it. Petzi Sis, who is going for cataract surgery No. 2 on Wednesday, went for the better lenses. And yeah, they can "fix" things while they're poking around in there so you should end up with better vision all around.
At this point, I don't know what my insurance would cover when the time comes for the surgery, but, yeah, if there's a better lens then I'll go for that. It would just be so wonderful to have halfway decent vision for once in my life. :-)
Thanks. I'm overdue for the colonscopy so I hope everything's okay there.
I don't know how long it'll be until my cataracts will be ready for surgery. My eye doctor didn't say anything about coming in any earlier than my normal one year appointment, so I'm guessing it'll be a while.
They're not bothering me right now. And since my eye doctor didn't want an earlier appointment than my usual one in a year, I don't think he's worried about it either for the time being.

The worst thing about colonoscopies is the preparation for it. Good luck in braving the ordeal.
