You know, when I lived in Denver, the police were a frequent subject for debate. I have a good friend who's married to a cop, and he's a good guy, but it's widely accepted that DPD's standards are abysmally low.

I think the thing about this that raises my cynicism level is the fact that the Dems love to point fingers at Republicans and Lobbyists, but have a news producer arrested because they want to hide their own ties to Lobbyists.

Exactly. I just heard this and am livid.

This just shows that the Democrats are just as much in the pocket of Lobbyists as they claim the Republicans are, but you'll never see that in most of the press. And they have no problem with using strong arm tactics to hide their activities from their constituents.
