I hope all the moms and children of moms had a great day yesterday. My brother, sil, and I joined my mother for a luncheon hosted by the nursing home, which was lovely. My brother wondered if they have the same kind of thing for Father's Day, and while I sure they do something, the fact is that probably 98% of their residents are women, so I'm ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure Blood Ties was a rerun last night - the season finale is next week.

You know, you're right - I figured it was a rerun because the description sounded familiar, but I was thinking of an episode of the Dresden Files instead. D'oh! There are too many supernatural detectives in my life right now.

I'm glad your mom had a nice time with you guys. That was sweet of the nursing home to do that!

And Survivor -- I echo all of your sentiments. Yau-Man is the coolest contestant! I love him! I would love to sit down and have a meal with him and just talk!

Wouldn't that be fun? You know, when I first saw him, I thought he'd be voted off within the first couple of rounds, but he stayed and stayed and then proved to be a valuable member of the tribe, and he was so sweet, I just loved him. :)
