I've been sick with a cold since last Saturday. Ugh. I'm one of those people that very seldom get sick with the exception of weather-related headaches and allergies. I still feel rotten, but I'm at work slugging away. I'd rather be at home ODing on Alka-Seltzer Plus and HGTV ( Read more... )

hope you feel better. I still have to watch this monday's hereos and I'll be honest, i'm probably one of the few on the flist who just isn't into BSG. I tried but it just didn't click with me

I generally like BSG, but I don't love it the way I do SGA. It's much darker and I generally like my sci-fi lighter even in the midst of alien attacks.

Heroes is really starting to click with me. I hadn't originally planned on watching it, but now I'm glad I did. I think it'll turn out to be a pretty good show.

it wasn't the darkness that bothered me. I just didn't click wiht any of the characters.

Same here with Heroes

I agree about the characters on BSG. I've only really liked Helo, the Chief, and Sharon-Boomer. The rest? Not so much. And I despise the Gaius/Six pairing.

Thanks. Funny thing is that Dr. R told me that his old female cat developed hyperthyroidism when she was 13 too, and she's responded very, very well to the medication, so that makes me feel better about giving him the pills.

Hands you a Kleenex and a hot cup of ginger tea and joins you in the misery "sniff, snort". And yay! for cat meds.
