Didn't see House but yes there are several things that could cause the symptoms of lowered inhibitions, spores, bugs, tumors, drugs, alcohol, infection
Well, of course, I know about drugs and alcohol lowering inhibitions, but the spores in her brain just made me flash on Spock hanging from a tree and laughing, and then crying that he could never tell his mother he loved her, and that's just too disturbing a thing to dwell upon. *g*
Re house, you're right it was icky. I thought that he'd just made the whole spore thing up to get rid of her. All those lines from movies he was using on her and then the far fetched diagnosis. Am I sure? well no, but it's what I'm thinking along with the fact that he'd likely prescribed some kind of placebo for her. It was also a way of letting her down without damaging her ego. He does have his moments.
Tarot was good with the blood letting, they always made me do the leg holding but towards the end of his life he was bad, and they took him back to the lab to do it. That was a relief for me in some ways because I'm squeemish and always hated assisting in spite of how well behaved he was. If they think Nikki is a good candidate for radiology you may want to consider it.
cornerofmadness just informed me that, yes, there are spores out there that can lower your inhibitions, so I guess that was a valid diagnosis. It does not, however, excuse him and his reaction to her.
I lost interest in NCIS's plot last night and just saw those scenes you mentioned. Do you get chemistry -- like possible future love chemistry -- between Gibbs and Abby? It's probably just my perverted mind.
McGee's whitening dilemma reminded me of Ross' in Friends one season.
Poor, poor kitty. I know that kind of feline wailing and it's heart wrenching. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. The thyroid affects so many systems in the body, and hyperthyroidism in humans can be very serious, affecting heart rhythm, etc. Maybe the cure would be best in the long run. (((((((hugs)))))))

No and yes. *g* No, really, I insist that they have a father/daughter-like relationship, and I refuse to think of them romantically. [/stompy foot] ;)
Tony brought up the Friends episode when he was torturing McGee. *g*
Yeah, I think I will be going with the radiation treatment. I need to talk it over with the vet ASAP.
