On another note, Tonga has learned a new word. My neighbors speak Spanish (barely any English), and since the walls are rather thin Tonga's picked up the word "salita" and says it occassionally in a very sing-song kind of way. I went with my modern art history class to the Cleveland Museum of Art to see the Barcelona exhibit, and it was phenomenal. They also had a bunch of prints, too, which was aweosme. I have/had about 20 questions for my Diversity class tomorrow, as well as one or two essays--there's one in the syllabus, but it's not in the book on page number 93 like it's supposed to be, and apparently there's an essay on culturally responsible teaching due, as well, but that's not in the syllabus at all. Tonga's been molting, and so I'm getting a collection of all sorts of feathers from him. It's so neat that he's green, and yet his wing feathers look like they came from another bird (black, blue, yellow, and red). I want to do an art project with them, but I don't know what. I'll have to think about it for a while and come up with something.

So, I've only been working at Michaels a couple weeks, and I was asked yesterday if I was interested in a position as a Front-End Supervisor (basically, the department manager for cashiers). I started working at Micheals on Wednesday. I worked again today, and it's the worst time of the year now, too. Because unlike other stores, we have to carry fall/Halloween/Xmas stuff really early so our customers can get their craft on. I've been scanning scanning scanning. In case I didn't mention it here, I'm working for the art department at Ursuline, scanning pictures out of textbooks and saving them to the art history hard drive (which will be put online eventually).
