(no subject)
I started working at Micheals on Wednesday. I worked again today, and it's the worst time of the year now, too. Because unlike other stores, we have to carry fall/Halloween/Xmas stuff really early so our customers can get their craft on. And so that means that I've been unloading stuff and stocking shelves the past three times I've worked. Ugh... At least I got done today at 3, though. When I got home I ate some cream o' wheat and a caramel apple while I watched a couple episodes of South Park. It was amazing--like, all of my favoriye things. :) And now I'm journalizing with a nice Tonga on my shoulder. It's amazing how much he's calmed down--he's really really sweet now, as opposed to the first several days I had him, when he was all bitchy and whatnot. For a while he was hating me when Geo was around, and would attempt to bite me if he even saw me when he was with Geo (he was fine with me when I was the only one home, though), but he's warmed up to me a lot and he's been very snuggly today. A snuggly Parrot is the best kind, after all. And yeah, I know most people are creeped out by parrots/birds as pets, but I think he's hella tite, and if I wasn't going to have Tonga, I'd definately get my own parrot (if I had the money, of course), most likely an Eclectus 'co they're not moody like Tonga's particular breed.
