Today was the first time I ever put my daughter on a bus/van to take her2 hours from home and keep her all week long. She is gone to camp. I don't know exactly how I feel about this. I've already written her a letter and mailed it. I also made her Dad send her a card and her brother send her a post card

She'll have fun at camp... and busy or not, the change will do you good, and I'm sure you're an excellent camp counsellor :D

I have been through first days of school, daycare, overnights and weekends with Grandma, but I have not yet experienced the whole camp thing. I will undoubtedly feel the same way. :)

I remember putting my son on a bus to school for the first time. I wasnt sure if he'd be comfortable with that or not so I played it up and he was all excited to go when the time came. I did that more for me than him. :)
