A driver on a cell phone cut us off tonight as she failed to come to a complete halt at a stop sign. I'm so tired of dumb drivers. I opened my window and yelled "stop talking on the phone and drive". She was evidently startled by my remark, paused and gathered all her little brain power to reply "fuck you bitch ( Read more... )

I couldn't have said it better. We must share a brain on this subject because that's exactly how I feel.

It is very frustrating, isnt'it? And I know I shouldn't waste any energy whatsoever on those people. I'm glad to know I'm not alone around here, but I do think we're a minority.

Yeah, it's very frustrating. I guess we can only hope that all states eventually pass the "no talking on cell phones while driving unless it's a hands free set" law. I know that New York and New Jersey currently have the law in place. Not sure which other states do, although I'm sure there are more.

Nad yeah, I picked that icon especially for your stupid woman ;)

I think your comment was actually very polite. You could have said, "Shut up and get off the phone!" or something like that. I'm sorry she was so rude to you. I hate situations like that.

I'm just so tired of complaining about these inconsiderate and dangerous people to myself. But I must be dreaming if I think they're going to say "oh, you're right. I did not realize speaking on the phone made me drive recklessly. I will stop that. Thank you and have a nice day." But I still wish that's the answer I'd get.

Yesterday Josh and I saw someone littering, and he made a comment, but the guy (who was with his girlfriend) didn't even turn around. Josh kept repeating, but no reaction. Although that's better than being insulted, I guess.

I promised myself that next time I see someone littering I'll go "excuse me, you inadvertently dropped some trash on the ground".

I hate those who drive slowly on the left lane too. I thought about creating a few carboard signs that I would leave in the car, like "blinkers are useful", or "turn lanes are meant to be used"... stuff like that.

Thanks for making me feel better.
