Look at this demonstration of the Twirl-A-Squirrel Bird Feeder! It's so hilarious. I saw it in a store and I had to find it on the internet. Too bad they don't have the original music here. It's a Beach Boy type of song, if you can picture that. More info on the bird feeder can be found here (I love the logo ( Read more... )

1. love the twirl-a-squirrel! *laugh*

2. hungry bunnies! but the hay is good for them :) timothy isn't available here either, as all sold out from winter and crops aren't in yet.

3. the dark chocolate M&Ms are a special Star Wars 'Dark Side' M&Ms. You'd have to look for special displays for them. Haven't seen them myself yet either but I've heard about them :) love dark chocolate so I paid attention :)

I can't find a link saying where they're available for purchase. Also, they have a cool Star Wars tin for sale and you can customize the colors of M&Ms to put in it, but you can't even have dark chocolate M&Ms in there. Lame!

Ah, so that's why they don't have any. I guess I'm so used to anything being available all the time in today's consumer world, that it didnt' even cross my mind that hay is grass that needs to be grown, and that takes time. I just hope the bunnies won't mind going back to Oxbow. I think they like the bale hay better.

Sarah says they are *not* available at Schnucks, Meyer, or Walmart, or Superwalmart.

We *have* found them at the Osco at Green & Neil. But the stock is running low, and may not have any more plain dark m&m's.

and when they're not in the candy aisle. They're in their special promotional aisle at the end (near the path through the middle of the store) and on the bottom shelf. There's one box of dark peanut and two of milk regular. They had a few bags there when I went by this evening, so you should be able to get some there.

p.s. I hope you like the baguette!

The baguette was good considering real baguettes are hard to find around here. However, it wasn't better than the Schnucks one (they're both good in different ways), and I don't care for the flour all over it. And also it's more expensive than at Schnucks, which is also a lot closer to our apartment. So my verdict is that I will keep buying the baguette at Schnucks, and go to Pekara if I want a different type of baguette and I'm in that area (because I like to support small shops too).

But I was very happy to try it! So keep me informed on places like that in the future!
