Look at this demonstration of the Twirl-A-Squirrel Bird Feeder! It's so hilarious. I saw it in a store and I had to find it on the internet. Too bad they don't have the original music here. It's a Beach Boy type of song, if you can picture that. More info on the bird feeder can be found here (I love the logo!).
My throat hurts and my head hurts today. I wanted to reserve this weekend to get some work done, and I'm not sure I can do that.
Believe or not, the bunnies went through the bale of hay. Well, I did give away three or four wedges to the Humane Society, which would have lasted them another month. So we went to the feed store to get more, but they are out of timothy bales. Boo hoo! I placed an order for a 9 lb bag of Oxbow hay, but it won't be here for a week, and the big timothy bale won't be in before July! So I bought a smaller bag of Oxbow hay, which is incidentally more expensive than the big bale of hay, had it been available.
Cat, my riding instructor, works at the feed store. I asked her for tips on a fly spray for Red and she got me the best one, which turns out to be the cheapest one for now. While I was with Cat, Josh saw that squirrel video. We then watched it together and laughed so hard we cried. I felt sorry for the squirrels, but couldn't help laughing.
We also bought a box fan. We have one already, but we needed a second one so we can have one in the window, and one near the bunnies' cage. When it gets hot, they sure appreciate the cool air.
And we stopped by Pekara, a new bakery in town. beadgalsarita told me that they have good baguettes. We bought one but didn't try it yet. Which reminds me of a question for beadgalsarita and birdwatcher5 or whoever has an answer: at the picnic last Monday, someone brought dark chocolate M&Ms. Does anyone know where they can be found? Josh and I have been looking in every store we go and we can't find them.
