This summer the barn where I ride is hosting a low-key horse show. So to prepare for it, yesterday Cat, Angie, and I (it's hard to find volunteers here in the summer since all the students are back home) started to paint some jumps. However, I didn't think about sunscreen and got a sunburn :-( I hate sunburns. Then Josh and I went to Rural King and Farm & Fleet where I dropped off sponsoring information for the managers. Asking for money really isn't my kind of thing, but I asked Cat how the sponsoring was going, and she told me that to this date the show had no sponsors. So Josh helped find courage in me and off we went. You'd think that soliciting strangers in Switzerland to record them would have made me a little more comfortable at that type of thing. But it's still just as hard. But hopefully my efforts will turn into something good.
