RA training is over and people are starting to come back to campus. It was great to get to meet and get to know some new people, but the 12-16 hour days weren't fun. iTunes still refuses to open. Poor Zoe (she's my laptop, for those who don't know the true depth of my love) has had threats made against her life. I've checked Apple support, Windows support, I've even googled "iTunes won't open", not to mention the things that I know to check just because I'm a slight computer dork, and nothing has worked. So I got my iPod today. (Still haven't gotten the damn pictures I ordered, but whatthefuckever, I'll deal with Snapfish later.) I'm setting it up despite the utter lack of instruction that Apple provided. I just got an iPod! Woo! Apparently, the Apple website gives discounts to students from qualifying schools, and Hollins is one of them! You can get a 1GB iPod Nano for $129 (plus tax). I didn't want to get anything bigger than 1GB because by the time I fill it up, someone will have developed something better anyway. It's supposed to ship ( Read more... ) -
Hiatus
I will be going on a short hiatus from LJ and AIM starting tonight until Sunday evening. I'll be in Virginia, WOO!!!
