I hate to ruin your squee, but i thoguh the space twitters actually are not real time or from space cos they are actually done by the ground station a few minutes after?
work has put me off twitter, and i shall never use it.
doing interviews is not that bad at all really, just ask questions and see how they answer. take notes, i find that helps!
I believe at least some of the space-twitters are in fact done from space, but even if it's a few minutes behind, that's still info being relayed from space! :D
How'd work put you off Twitter? (you don't have to set up twitter feeds for anyone do you?)
I am in fact mostly to be note-taker and Random Helpful and Assistive Person, so I genuinely don't have to do a lot, but still. ME? o_O
hmm, having said that, the internet now connects to space actually, so maybe they tested that by twittering :P (and im not sure it should be called an internet when its galactic, maybe a universenet :P)
our MD is obsessed with twitter, he wont ever shut up about it, and was pretending to be a chicken on there for a while (until he got banned because their automatic software decided his egg icon looked like a breast). he actually rewards staff for pissing around on twitter all day long and having the most followers and stuff, it's horrible. because clearly senior management who never leave and get company cars and all this bollocks should waste their days on twitter.
hee, think of it as good experience to pop on your CV :)
I have a new Blackberry Bold, which was FREE! Because my husb is a tech nerd and fixes the many broken phones of his stupid bosses. So he fixed a Blackberry Bold, and gave it to me! \O/
I haven't named him yet; any suggestions?
What kind of Blackberry do you have? I do not have a data plan, for they are $40/month here, which is DUM. And I don't really need the data plan, so I do not have one. But my lovely bold does get WiFi, so I can use that at least. And I love the GAMES! Yay Sudoku! /geek
But I am sad that I cannot access Blackberry Apps.
Ooh, Bold. I've got a Curve 8900. And I don't have a contract- I bought it outright, not on a plan, cause I use pay-as-you-go cause with that I can cover my phone for a month for £10 if that, where plans are easily £35 a month (which is $80!!), and for that I can get my data and calls and texts. I feel very lucky, even if I did just shell out *cough*£250*cough* for the phone itself.
I know mine SHOULD get wifi, and I think it is? But I get confused as to what stuff is coming through the data plan and what is internet. *g* And the games! I have already become weirdly addicted to Word Mole, omg.

Good luck with the interviews! I'm sure 'good cop' is the better position to be in. :-)

I am playing "minor, but occasionally practically useful" cop, so I am really stressing over not much, but omg. o_O
