I constantly worry that my life, or rather, my existence isn't progressing as quickly as it should be. I know that I have an abundance of time and that there's absolutely no need to rush anything, but I can't help wondering why it is that at 24 I still haven't done anything of particular importance. -

i yearn - more than anything - for some sincerity. but a part of me knows that the truth i desire is selective and therefore subject to restraints; i don’t want to get hurt, i don’t want to be told i’m not enough, and i don’t want to know that who i am isn’t something people might be interested in. i want honesty, but not so much that it pains me. -

it's been dark and rainy lately - my kind of weather. i went out a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised when the sky turned gray and let loose some rain. instead of running for cover i stopped in the middle of the street and lifted a hand to catch some raindrops. i felt so much at peace and once again - after so long - hopeful. as if the rain ( Read more... ) -

Sometimes silence seems like the perfect form of comfort music. The gap between what was last said, what was last heard, to what will be can stretch to an eternity that is always encompassing, always compassionate, and forever understanding.
