When Prussia saw the bottle offered to him, he quickly snatched it up. Life was suddenly right again....

"I'm a generous guy so I guess I can share this time." Even though Prussia was smiling, his eyes were saying something else. They were daring the others to say what they needed to say. Questions? Pff, he was ready for them. He was not afraid to answer. It was obvious that England was extremely discontent and Spain was troubled by what he was seeing. So if they wanted to say something now, they could.

Especially since he now had beer. Delicious, cold, foamy German beer...

"Then don't forget, amigo." Spain mused, swishing his beer around and listening to the liquid inside slosh about. Though even he would agree that forgetting things sometimes would have been more preferable, sometimes it wasn't the best option. Especially when the experiences were had with good allies (or even good enemies).

He reached down to retrieve another beer for the white-haired nation, shaking his head. As he offered it to Prussia, he turned his attention towards England.

"What about you, Inglaterra?"

Er. "What about me?" England's gaze fell on Spain. He didn't want to say anything about himself. He never did, unless they were good things.

He took the new one and grinned at its shiny can...but he was more focused on England. He was curious now. Prussia wanted to know as well. "Things that have happened, kesese..."

Spain raised a brow at England's response, returning his arms to where they'd been resting on his knees just a moment ago. His beer was temporarily forgotten as curiosity got the best of him, all of his attention going towards getting some information out of his old rival. "You've been here for a while now, sí? Surely something interesting's happened."

"What the hell are you guys looking at me for?" England finally said, voice raising from the pressure. He quickly gulped down his beer in an attempt to stall, finished it, and then crushed the can in his hand. He didn't want to think about it! Didn't want to think about this week, the past week, his time in Death City.

It was clear to the other countries that England was agitated. It showed on his face even after only a little bit of probing.

"Oh, done?" He already handed him another before England could refuse. As if he would refuse. Who would refuse? "Why can't I look at ya? Maybe we are curious...!"

"¡Muy curioso!" Spain agreed, not even stopping Prussia from getting England another beer. He knew it might have been a bad idea, getting the blond even slightly drunk always resulted in... rather crazy things afterward, but it often loosened up even the stubbornest people (and nations).

And if their probing didn't get answers, at least it riled England up. Spain took some amount of pleasure in provoking him like this, alongside Prussia.

England snatched the drink from Prussia's hand in anger, immediately opening it and guzzling down the damn thing. At least if he was drinking, he didn't have to talk. Fuck them. Fuck their curiosity. It was none of their damn business. And fuck this beer for making him lightheaded. He never used to get woozy on two beers. Fuck humanity!

He finally sat down on the bed beside his partner, but with his back toward Spain. This... He just wanted people to leave him alone. Was that too much to ask? After a few moments of silence, he finally spoke. "Idiot," he muttered ever so quietly. "Fucking idiot. And your brother."

"..." Prussia quickly handed him another. England sat there quietly stewing, but Prussia could see the red aura of anger radiating from the country. "Did you say...mother..? Butter? ...Brother?"

Spain raised a brow, trying to keep back the vague amusement he was feeling towards a raging England.

He kept quiet, settling back in his chair and easily lifting his leg so that he could rest an ankle on his knee. Taking a drink from his beer, he leaned over the side of the chair to grab another, just in case Prussia needed it (for either himself, or the stewing nation next to him).

"I didn't catch it, myself." And that was all he offered, for the moment. Perhaps a couple beers and Prussia could crack England...

So they were going to make him say it again? Before he knew it, Prussia was already shoving another beer in his face. England could tell what was going on, here. He wasn't stupid. Still, the beer was really nice, and it took all his self-restraint to not grab the third one.

"I said your brother!" he snarled, suddenly leaning into Prussia's personal bubble. He looked angry for a while, then noticed the arm and backed off. Right. What was England yelling at his partner for? After he did such a thing to him.

Prussia didn't move the can away. He just kept it in the air, waiting for someone to claim it as theirs. Instead, he placed his attention on England who was looking at him with such a fierce expression. "Alright. What did West do?"

England frowned and scooted a little bit away from Prussia. He wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to scold Germany, just because he was worried about his brother.

He was quiet for several moments, rubbing at his forehead. "He came to get me on the day of your surgery," England finally said, sighing. "Even went as far as lifting me off the ground and throwing me over his shoulder."

"....West did that?" It was strange to hear that. His brother doing something as forceful like that? Prussia knew his brother could be pushy, but... "Why did he do that?"

"He wanted me to attend your surgery," England replied sheepishly. He rubbed at his arm, unable to look Prussia in the face. Hopefully his partner would have been able to understand that he couldn't, especially not after feeling like he was responsible for this whole thing. England didn't want to hear Prussia scream, didn't want to see him suffer.

They were such selfish reasons.
