With no partner to accomplish the act of fighting, Sarah was forced to remain behind in the city. She would have liked to scout out the areas that all the other partnered pairs had gone, but she was displeased with herself for her failure to acquire a partner in time. So, she had forced herself to stay behind and help in the new 'occupation' that she had taken up.
Moving around the incoming patients, she had quickly sorted who had needed a real doctor, who could deal with the not-doctors and who would be trouble for either group. She would suture when she had time, but she moved along to make certain that all was well until she had spotted him. Amused, she had looked at the nice neat suture line on the patient at the man left, and she knew from personal experience that one only got that good doing it quite bit

Sarah snorted softly when she received so little for a reply, and she found his briskness amusing. It was plainly obvious in his emotions that he wanted to be left alone and to go back to putting up some kind of strange facade. She would dig up the reason as to why he needed on eventually, but until then, she would simply press on him.
"Oh, I think it was very necessary," she replied conversationally as she set aside the bowl and picked up a non-stick telfa pad to lay over the long injury with salve on it. "We wouldn't want you out of action for long, hmm? I'm sure you have very important business to attend to."
She picked up some kling wrap and poked just under his arm to urge him pointedly to lift it as she began to wrap his shoulder appropriately. The other one was good, but she would do better.
He glanced back over his shoulder to the red-head at the counter-attack she gave his words. It appeared that no matter what he said or did, she would attempt to outdo it for some reason. The judge wasn't entire certain why she felt this need to irritate him time and time again, but he would make certain in the future not to draw any further attention to himself.
Her conversational tone had him glancing back over his shoulder as she began laying the telfa pad over his long injury. Yuri was no fool, and he knew why she wanted to 'tend' to his wound. That had only been further proven as she had followed with a string of questions revolving around the weapon that had caused such a wound.
Raising his arm when gestured to, he ignored the stiff-soreness from the move as he murmured, "Just as many others do as well, I believe."
As if being able to read his mind (sadly not true right now), Sarah lifted her face to peer at his expression before smirking. "I will always win, Mr. Petrov," she whispered as if it were some big secret. "Your resistance is futile, and you can count on me keeping an eye on you no matter your nice fabricated facade."
She pulled the kling wrap tight enough to hold the underbandage against the injury before continuing to wrap it. She had to grab another roll midway through wrapping around his chest, but she completed the job easily and taped the bandage securely in place before patting his upper arm.
"I'm a telepath, by the way," she informed him with a wink before standing up. "Beware the Ghost, Mr. Petrov. Beware the Ghost."
The smirk was returned with an impassive stare. Whether her words got to him or not was never shown on his expression, but the judge maintained an air of indifference even as Kerrigan spoke of his resistance being futile. "Then I should count myself fortunate that there is one so obviously talented looking out for my well being," he calmly spoke in return. Her attempts to bait him would never provoke him into giving anything away

She really did enjoy this new game of cat-and-mouse. It was very entertaining, and it was distracting from the rest of her work as well. She supposed that she would need to figure out which was more important, though she knew that her duties were. It was just what was more interesting to her, since she knew her duties backwards and forwards.
"Yes, you should, but I doubt that you do," she replied in kind, shrugging her shoulders as she stepped back to allow him to move. She remained behind him purposefully, though she had no ill-intentions for him just yet.
"Somewhat," she replied mysteriously. She had enough to get by and not have her go insane with the constant silence. The ebb and flow of strong emotions was the only comfort that she had here in this place, but it still managed to give people away sometimes. Too bad he liked to be a blank sheet to her.
"Oh, and if you need help doing bandage changes, feel free to give me a call," she offered, though she knew for a fact that he wouldn't take it.
Her words had him glancing over at her while he finishing doing up the buttons to his shirt. The tie went next, and as he proficiently began tying it, he murmured in return, "I highly doubt that this city is so dangerous to warrant anyone needing any form of watcher, let alone a simple judge."
Reaching for his jacket, he slipped his right arm through it automatically before moving to slowly place his left arm through the sleeve. The mention of 'somewhat' didn't go by his notice, and neither did the fact that she continued to stand behind him.
Turning back to face her, he neatly buttoned up the front of his business jacket as he spoke, "I will keep your offer in mind." But just as she thought, he never would act on that fact. Yuri had every intention of keeping a low profile even long after she'd grown bored and tired of this little game of hers.
"You never know what this city needs," she replied in kind, and she wondered about that statement of him being a simple judge. She would have to look into if there were others of his world around to ask after. How good was his facade anyway? "Perhaps there will be opportunity yet for you to pass judgement on others." She had never looked into the criminal justice system here after all.
She folded her arms over her chest as he turned around, glancing at his appearance and t'sking softly. "Next time you want to help with blood and putting people back together, perhaps you should get clothing that can be thrown away at the end," she replied before stepping around him.
She reached out and pulled open the curtain before glancing back at him. "Beware the Ghost, Mr. Petrov," she replied before slipping out to send another patient his way.
