[Yuri + Naomi][17th Jan, leading up to wounded arriving][CLOSED] judgementbyfire January 14 2012, 13:21:30 UTC
He had heard of the coming strike within multiple cities by the guests of this one, but he had made no move to involve himself with the attack itself. That was better left to those like Barnaby and Wild Tiger who would both defend the city and shine in the spotlight. That didn't mean, however, that he wouldn't allow himself to get involved. It was quite the opposite actually as he had every intention of offering his skills to aid the medical team.

While he was no doctor, the judge knew enough about First Aid to offer some level of assistance. He deduced that they would need all the help they could get given the situation, and giving such help would only further establish himself within the city as a concerned citizen.

His shoulder was still healing from the wound he'd sustained from his battle in Sternbild, which caused some stiffness along his left shoulder, but he didn't allow it to hinder his actions as he attempted to find a doctor to announce himself to.

Naomi stifled a yawn as she made a round around the clinic, trying to see who wasn't here and who had come in as extra help for the coming mission. She was operating on odd hours for herself--these days she slept through the morning and afternoon thanks to her work schedule--but she'd gone on missions enough to be adjusting much better these days.

It looked like this man was new, or if he wasn't she'd never seen him before. Either way, though, it was time to ask questions. "Are you here to help for the mission?" she asked him as she approached.

The voice drew Yuri's attention from his search, and he calmly glanced over to regard the woman in question. He didn't need to ask whether or not this woman was a doctor, the air she held around her and the uniform she wore was more than enough of an indication.

"I am, yes," the judge smoothly said before introducing himself. "My name is Yuri Petrov. While I am no doctor, I am proficient in first aid treatments and offer my services if you'll be in need of them."

[Yuri + Kerrigan][17th Jan, when injured have started arriving][CLOSED] judgementbyfire January 14 2012, 13:33:44 UTC
The judge had been true to his words the moment the injured fighters had started arriving. Leaving the badly wounded patients to the experienced medical personnel, Yuri had taken it on himself to begin cleaning and suturing up the wounds of those with minor injuries.

That was what he was doing right now. After cleaning the wound, he had begun neatly suturing up the deep gash this particular individual had sustained along his right arm. Ignoring the stiffness of his left shoulder, the judge expertly worked the needle and thread through the skin to pull the wound together.

Finishing up his work, Yuri nodded his head in return to the thanks before taking a moment to watch as his patient walked off. There would be plenty more patients after him, but watching the injured man moving away, the judge was reminded of exactly why this city was in need of Lunatic.

With no partner to accomplish the act of fighting, Sarah was forced to remain behind in the city. She would have liked to scout out the areas that all the other partnered pairs had gone, but she was displeased with herself for her failure to acquire a partner in time. So, she had forced herself to stay behind and help in the new 'occupation' that she had taken up.

Moving around the incoming patients, she had quickly sorted who had needed a real doctor, who could deal with the not-doctors and who would be trouble for either group. She would suture when she had time, but she moved along to make certain that all was well until she had spotted him. Amused, she had looked at the nice neat suture line on the patient at the man left, and she knew from personal experience that one only got that good doing it quite bit ( ... )

Yuri had become aware of the one approaching him while he'd watched his previous patient disappear. Judging by the approach, he didn't feel that this was another patient, and as the familiar red-head slid onto the cot in front of him, the judge's expression instantly became neutral.

Sarah Kerrigan. This woman was trouble from what he'd seen of her so far. After their first meeting, the judge had done what he could to research everything about this woman, and he could easily say that he hadn't been pleased with what he saw.

"Knowing how to sew is far from a crime Miss Kerrigan," Yuri said in reply. He wasn't about to be provoked into anything, and he certainly wasn't going to shed any light on her assumptions.

She knew him as Yuri Petrov, but other than that, information on him was fairly scarce because of how new he was to the city. He worked for the investigative agency and as far as anyone there was concerned, he was a fine and upstanding citizen. He did his work well and efficiently, and he was a personal authority and resource to people there.

His actions about mingling were too good for what she had seen previously. The fact that she knew he had looked into her in return was amusing, and she turned a predatory smile on him at his reply.

"Of course not, Mr. Petrov," she replied in a mocking tone. "I was just saying that such skills usually go to waste, and men typically aren't ones to learn it. What other wonderfully domesticated hobbies have you taken up that could be of use in Death City, hmmm?"

[The judge was making his rounds throughout the clinic. He was currently between patients, and looking for someone else with minor wounds he could possibly help]

You should rest now, there are not going to be too many other opportunities.

And thank you for all your help too. [Mary was carrying some supplies to one of the storage rooms and looking surprisingly calm and rested for someone working all day. Perhaps it was a blessing of her youth, though it was the meister ability that she still had yet to figure out that spread that sense of calm to others with just her presence.]

[Yuuri paused when he heard a voice. Glancing over, he sighted a young child who he'd seen working in the clinic with everyone else. It was rather remarkable for a child of her age, and while he'd never admit to it, he was somewhat impressed.

He nodded his head to her offer of thanks.]

Have you been aiding the clinic here for long?

Only about a month. I've been working under Doctor Watson to learn nursing and medicine.

The situation in Europe seemed to be in hand despite the chaos in the cities. A report had already come in from Vienna that the emitter was already under heavy attack, and the situation in Prague was quickly improving. Still, Spirit wouldn't stop being tense until the entire debacle was over.

He was in the clinic at that moment, striding in from the mirror after dealing with a particularly large kishin egg in Frankfurt.

[ Maru-Maru had dropped Yachiru off at the clinic a while ago and said something about being good and helping the staff if they need anything, though Yachiru's not sure what exactly she could do. It's not like she's from the fourth division, and all she ever was good at was helping Ken-chan wrap bandages whenever he got hurt. But it seems like there are doctors and nurses that know how to tie bandages better than Yachiru.

So she's spent most of her time here with a thick stack of paper and crayons, coloring and drawing pictures for everybody! This is being helpful too, right?

But when a leg suddenly comes out of a mirror, Yachiru just stares until that leg becomes part of a body and-- uwaaaa! It's Spear-Spear! Spear-Spear just came out of a mirror! In a sudden flurry of excitement, papers and crayons flying, Yachiru bounds over to Spear-Spear excitedly, waving. ]

SPEAAAAAAR-SPEAAAAAAAR!!!!!

[His face turns from mild confusion to a BIG BIG SMILE as he recognizes the little imp, and without asking, immediately picks her up to carry.]

Heeey, Yachiru! Whatcha doing here?

[ Yachiru's arms go around Spear-Spear's neck easily and she gives him a happy hug before leaning back so she can look at him properly, giggling. ]

Anou ne, anou ne... Maru-Maru said he had to go on a mission with Izurun! So he told me to stay here and be good and wait for him an' to help the staff with anything if they need it! So I've been drawing pictures for everybody!! [ Babbles excitedly. ]

[JOHN WATSON][All the days, all the time][OPEN] Just please indicate your preference of day/time stalwartcane January 15 2012, 10:51:04 UTC
It was always busy in the clinic after major missions like these (and even without), and it wasn't surprising that his time was being entirely taken up by his patients. The clinic was responding well to the bustle, however, and Watson was pleased that they hadn't run out of beds this time.

He walked the length of the clinic again, looking into the rooms to see if their patients needed anything. Or that none was attempting an escape, for that matter.

Lili wasn't here because of the mission, of course, she was here healing from her burns. Regardless, it was kind of nice to see it so bust around there. It made her feel less pathetic, and it distracted the doctors from bothering her.

Dr. Watson, though, was always welcome. He managed to come across as genuinely caring, without being annoying. She smiles when he walks in the room, despite her undying hatred for being here.

"Good afternoon, sir."

"Good afternoon, Lili," he greeted warmly, shuffling into her room and putting down a mug of hot tea on the small table by the bed. "I brought you some tea, my dear. It must be thoroughly disturbing to have the clinic all ahoo like this. I do hope you're faring well?"

Watson had a fondness for Lili, despite her tendency to get into all sorts of arguments on the network. He respected her spirit and could see that despite her sometimes rough veneer, she was a truly good at heart.

"Thank you!"

She shifted in her bed, rearranging a pillow with her uninjured arm. "I'm feeling better. It doesn't disturb me. It's more lively this way. I know I don't particularly enjoy the nights without any patients to care for."
