[Yuuri hadn't given Leo much of a choice when it came to coming on this mission or not. The moment that he'd discovered what was happening, the young Maou had found the Meister, taken him by the wrist, and forced him along. They had to go and help!
That was where they were now. Running through the mirror, Yuuri's heart felt as though it was about to jump out of his throat at the sight he saw.]
Leo!
[He tried to keep the fear and panic from his voice, but it didn't work well. Then he was off and dashing towards the front lines. He didn't miss the onslaught of Kishin Eggs leaping over the barricade.]
[Leo had been pretty much complaining and resisting all the way, insisting that Yuuri had plenty of other people who would actually WANT to get dragged into this kind of shit and that he should just go bother THEM instead. Until they stepped into that street and he realized at one strike what was going to happen.
Yellow eyes turning wide with shock that wasn't quite terror (at least not for himself), the Half stopped dead in his tracks at the sight.]
Jesus fucking christ doing all the other gods, they're all dead!
[His petrification doesn't last for long, though, not when that fucking idiot who has dragged him into this slaughterhouse is already running ahead and trying to get himself killed. Cursing once more, he clenches his fists and dashes after Yuuri.]
Ya fucking moron, where do ya think you're going?! We don't even have weapons, you'll get killed!!
[A part of him hadn't even thought that far ahead. All Yuuri saw were the deal people in the street, and the young Maou had forgot everything else like having a weapon on him. That wasn't the fact though that he was fully aware of Leo calling out behind him.
He sighted a few of the Kishin Eggs noticing their position and turning to face them.]
We've got to protect whoever's left.
[Turning back to face Leo, he temporarily ignored the Kishin Eggs.]
[Seeing the kishin eggs and guessing what Yuuri is up to, Leo lest out a gruff huff.]
Which makes it a lot better. Goddammit, I thought I made my stance about killing here more than obvious by now!!
[Despite his words he skidds to a halt, one hand open to take the sword the moment Yuuri would transform. Mentally he is still cussing up a storm. Fucking damn, it doesn't look as if they would get out of here without a fight!
...Looking at the dead bodies, he feels his rage rise. Fuck, he hates killing but seeing those poor bastards makes him want to mess those things up badly!]

This was shaping into another very interesting day, and Gai was beginning to wonder if he really liked the month of January after all. But that was something he really didn't have time for thoughts of. Two cities were about to come under attack.
As Kakashi was still dealing with his injuries from their failed mission, though, Gai needed to find someone to go with. If they would go with him. At least this time he was better-equipped to not fail this Meister. In fact, he could protect them better than he'd protected anyone before. Considering who he could go with, Gai recalled speaking with Tassadar about missions, and the tall alien was a Meister!
Thinking of whom... Tassadar was around here, wasn't he? A few minutes later Gai had found Tassadar. Gai bowed his head. "Are you busy at this time?"
He had been busy working on the final touches to the generator before the call went out. Tassadar, however, had been unaware as he'd become prone to ignoring his communicator when he became absorbed in his work. It was only by chance that he had been leaving the Shibusen building when Gai had come running up towards him.
Something was undoubtedly wrong with the ninja. He didn't need his psionic abilities to determine that, but as of yet he hadn't heard the news of the invasions.
'En Taro Adun, Maito Gai,' Tassadar greeted as he came to a stop in front of the bowing man. 'No, I have just taken a momentary break from my work. You are in need of something?'
"Good morning, Tassadar." Ah, just a small break... but Gai could ask anyway. A 'no' wouldn't hurt. "There is a new mission on the board, a more-urgent one. There are two towns about to come under attack. My Meister is still injured from our last mission, and I believe we spoke about one day trying. If you are busy, though, I will understand! ...And I will not fail this one. I have learned more about my ability."
Doubt was bad, and Gai was relentlessly squishing down the doubts he had in himself after his last mission. He could do this.
He hadn't heard anything about a mission, but the moment Gai mentioned it, his eyes widened in surprise. While he had been busy working on finishing the generator, the templar could not ignore the call of the innocents. The battlefield was where he belonged even in this world. Yet he had never truly partnered up with another Weapon since his arrival here, but he could not ignore the urgency of this mission either. If he searched for Nataku now, who knew how many innocents would lose their lives?
'I am never too busy,' Tassadar said as his calm blue eyes flashed a bright yellow. 'We must leave at once!' The templar firmly stated. His attention was already focusing on getting to the mirror, and with that, he gave Gai an expected look before he began to run towards the mirror. While humans were fast, they were no comparison to a protoss at full speed. Fortunately for Gai, however, Tassadar's stride was hindered by the tight space of the hallways.

Takuto and Aion arrived shortly after the struggle started to become nasty. The resident forces were fighting a brave battle but more and more kishin eggs managed to break through their defensive line and wherever they did blood started to dye the streets a slippery red
( ... )
"Right!" Takuto pressed into the fray immediately, gritting his teeth at the Kishin eggs who had invaded the city. His boots slipped across the bloodied streets, but he began hacking angrily at them without wasting any time. He was severely off-balance without another weapon, but he couldn't bring himself to care.
There were very few things that could make Takuto truly angry, and even fewer things that could make him behave in a rather ruthless fashion. This battlefield filled with bodies... this was one of them.
Aion's expression turned light and hint of a thrilled smile tugged at his lips as he watched Takuto enter the fray like an angry demon, hacking and slaying mercilessly while ignoring his own impediment. Maybe he had chosen to entertain the right Meister after all, not just a temporary fill-in. Fueled by those thoughts, the demon quickly emptied the remaining bullets he had into the crowd of kishin eggs.
Diving down, he called a short "Takuto!" before changing into his Weapon form which was humming eagerly with his wavelength. At the three kishin eggs had snuck up on Takuto, closing in on him from different sides and ready to strike.
he *is* the right meister and you know it~ <3gingaprettyboyJanuary 3 2012, 02:51:53 UTC
Takuto caught Aion right out of the air, his wavelength running high and harsh. He didn't waste any time, turning Aion's momentum from the free-fall into a quick horizontal spin, snagging a piece of the closest Kishin egg. The rest fell back a short distance.
A second later Takuto was leaping at them, hoping to drive them back. There were still innocent people trying to get out of the city. He didn't want to let a single Kishin egg past him, even though he was already surrounded on all sides.

[ At a loud thud and the sound of screeching, Tenten's alert mind quickly overlooked the entire forest. A herd of Kinshin eggs continued to rush away from the location, but one exceptionally angry screech remained. When the Kishin eggs were far enough away, Tenten's sharp eye quickly saw the kishin fell for their crude pitfall. With the monster struggling to get out of the hole, Tenten quickly tapped Santana to grab her attention. ]
[Admittedly, Santana thought about turning around the second they showed up here. She'd never actually seen the Kishin eggs before now, but they...well, honestly, she had never really tried to imagine them before. But what she saw was definitely worse than whatever she had assumed. Lima Heights ain't got nothing on Winnet.
It was total chaos around there, and the pair quickly noticed the monsters trying to surround the town, making themselves cozy on the wooded outskirts. So they did what any teenage girls with only a vague idea what the hell they were doing would do: they tricked them.]
[ Tenten's first view of a Kinshin egg was, suffice to say, definitely not what she imagined. She thought there were egg-armored creatures with animalistic features for whatever appendages they had out of their bodies. The ugly beasts were certainly unsightly.

[ The Kinshin egg used what little intelligence it had to deduce whoever set the trap. It's narrow, angry, glaze seems to tighten as its crocodile jaws open wide enough to devour both of the girls at once. As the rest of its scaly, clawed, limbs crawl out of the hole there's only one proper reaction from Tenten ]
