Germany was walking the petstore dogs as usual, thinking about the layout and design of the building for Bumblebee. Ever since he had given up the coordination of morning training, owing to his broken arm (still in a cast, but no longer slung up to his chest), Germany had been occupying himself more and more with the city's infrastructure and design. He was a good engineer and architect in the form of one country, and it gave him pleasure to work on these problems even in such ridiculous circumstances like being human.

Today, he was walking a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd, and he was going through the park. He was lost in thought when both dogs took interest in a young girl off to the side. They didn't tug or wander off, but they did walk while staring at her, ears perked. Germany glanced at the stranger and tilted his head. "Good afternoon," he greeted politely. "Why are you staring at the trees?"

Helga jumped at the sound of the voice, she'd been so focused on finding a tree that was symmetrical that she hadn't noticed the man and his two dogs approach her.

"Um hey! I want to build a tree house. I got permission and everything. The tree house has to be symmetrical though, so does the tree I suppose."

Helga took a moment to let the dogs sniff her hands before scratching them behind the ears, she doesn't have a pet of her own but she likes them well enough.
"Nice dogs."

"A symmetrical treehouse?" Germany looked up at the tree -- decidedly not symmetrical at all -- and thoughtfully back at the dogs. They were friendly enough creatures, well-trained (he trained them, after all), and obedient. They wagged their tails in pleasure at the attention, since Germany wasn't often very affectionate with them.

"Do you already have a design in mind? I could make a design for you, if you do not mind the imposition," he added, because he wasn't very sure about letting underaged young girls build treehouses without proper supervision.

Helga nods excitedly and then remembering herself focuses on the dogs for a minute before saying, "Sure, I could do with the help, I was wondering how I could get people involved. I'm new here and don't know much about putting out messages on the system." Still scratching the dogs Helga continues, "I got permission from Death the Kid and to thank him said the tree house would be symmetrical, what with him being all coo-coo crazy about symmetry and all."

Straightening Helga turned to peer at the trees. "They don't look very symmetrical though and I'm not sure if I should just find a suitable tree first and then worry about that stuff later."

Sora didn’t like spending too much time in the small apartment, especially when so far he still hadn’t found many practical ways to help out anybody in this new world. Normally those in need of assistance seemed to find him all of their own accords, but he was beginning to realise this may not in fact be the same case in this world. Many people here were already capable of helping themselves, which was a good thing, but with Sora still unable to fully transform into a weapon, he himself wasn’t doing much good ( ... )

Helga turned at the salutation of the spiky haired boy, he was dressed different from anything Helga was used to but she was also beginning to get used to the strange people she was meeting.

"I got permission to build a tree house. So I'm looking for a symmetrical tree. I kinda said the tree house would be symmetrical," awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck Helga looked up at the trees around her, "I mean a tree is a tree to me, but ya know, when someone helps you out you gotta repay them somehow."

Helga turned to observe the boy and shrugged awkwardly, he was a teenager and probably wouldn't want to build a tree house but there was no harm in asking.

"Wanna help build it? I get the feeling I'm gonna need all the help I can get."

A… symmetrical tree? How was it even possible to find such a thing? Well, Sora for one wouldn’t really know how to pick it. Like she herself said, a tree was a tree. In fact, a tree with more branches and roots was a better choice for tree house location anyway, he had always thought.

Building a tree house itself though, now that was a quest worth pursuing. Especially since Sora had many fond memories of his own childhood playing in the tree house on the island. It had been built high up into the side of a massive tree trunk, and an asymmetrical one at that.

“That sounds great! I can definitely help you build one. How come it’s gotta be symmetrical though? The best tree house trees are the widest and the strongest, not the most symmetrical.”

Helga chuckles at his question, ordinarily she wouldn't give a damn about symmetry but somehow in his complex simplicity Kid had given her a piece of home despite being in a whole new world.

"The guy who gave me permission he really likes symmetry. The way I see it without him I wouldn't be able to build this." Slightly embarrassed at the amount of emotion she was showing Helga coughed and feigned irritation. "Anyway, that's just the way it's gotta be."

It had taken them a little longer to get ready to leave the apartment. For one thing, she needed to fill up some water bottles for Keroro so he wouldn't dry up in the sun. At least it was cooler now, than when they first arrived (thank goodness for small blessings).

There was once again a backpack slung over her shoulder (though this time Keroro wasn't in it) when she arrived at the park.

"Helga." Came the quite greeting.

"Hey Eve! Death the Kid said we could build the tree house here. We just need to find a good tree and get some people to help us."

Helga was strangely excited about the tree house, it was becoming more than just a place for people to hang out, it was a slice of home.

"Not carrying Keroro this time?"

"He wanted to walk."

Eve was excited too, though she wasn't particularly good at showing it.

"...what makes a good tree?"

"It needs to be sturdy, lots of strong branches, um...I think the best thing would be to find a tall strong tree with a thick trunk."

Helga isn't too sure what makes a good tree but she doesn't need Eve to know that.

"Kid said the park attendants would help us."

Currently, what looks like a walking sun-hat is forming square-shapes with the thumb and forefingers of a pair of green hands and looking at trees through them.

"Helga-dono! I think I have located a symmetrical tree, de arimasu!"

"Dono?"

Helga looked around where Keroro was looking, she didn't see a symmetrical tree but maybe the small green alien had seen something she hadn't.

"Where?"

"It's an honorific, de arimasu. And it's that one, the one over there, de arimasu!"

He points at what is probably the least symmetrical tree in the whole park. Although it is also the biggest tree.

"An honorific eh? I like that, so what would I use for you Keroro, would Dono work for you too?"

Helga peers at the tree, it's a pretty good tree as far as tree house trees go. Symmetrical it is not however.

"Um, Keroro...what do you understand by the term symmetrical? What I mean is...do you understand what the word means?"
