Saki's on her way home from work, carrying with her some extra cupcakes that she'd made for herself. They were new recipes, and if they turned out good, she'd add them to the store's inventory. Before she gets to her place, however, she sees him by the fountain, and actually, to her, he looks a little sick.

She goes over to him kneeling next to him, putting her hand lightly on his shoulder. "Are you all right?"

At the touch he stiffens, eyes slitting down to a glare. At one time he might have snapped at the human for getting so close, but being around humans more has calmed him somewhat... she doesn't smell aggressive outright at least.

"I'm fine." He goes back to work trying to wash his tattered clothing, instead only managing to sneeze.

Saki removes her hand quickly - whoops - and winces at his sneeze. "It doesn't sound like it. Maybe you'd be better off trying to do that inside."

"I don't like buildings." He had already looked inside the Community Casual, and had only been greeted by an awful screeching noise. Not only that- but the idea of living with a bunch of humans all on top of each other made his skin itch. He could live with a few, but all crammed up like that? Long term?

But it IS getting cold, and his clothing is now all wet and not very covering. He's not stupid. "....is there somewhere I can dry out?"

There were a number of things about the situation Zeus recognized man would have thought bizarre. Not only his state of dress, his state of being, but his inclination to move to a fountain to drink instead of finding a stand of some sort to offer beverages. Wide blue eyes half lidded. Zeus might be a master of seeing the forest and not the trees, but even he could recognize his own creations for what they were.

This one, while human in appearance, had not always been as such.

Kiba didn't exactly hear the other approach, or catch his scent- though the sounds and scents where there. It was more like the hair on his body stood on edge, his instincts alerting him before his brain fully caught up with his other senses. He turned slowly, water still dripping from his face and hair, and just stared at the god.

His belly told him this wasn't just another human- something about the look of the eyes maybe, or the way he stood. It didn't matter to Kiba. To him there were wolves, men, animals and Others. Others like Cheza and spirits and things that made his nose twitch on certain lonely nights. He didn't understand it, and he had no desire to try to. It was just instinct. So he just watched, seeing what Zeus would do.

The most fascinating part of Death City, to god, was the wide variation of beings it pulled in. This animal, that angel, those who traveled the stars; himself and his brothers. In some sense it would have been frustrating, not that Zeus recognized the feeling as such, that he had no sway over that BREW machine, or that he fully understood it's functioning. Not for the first time since his arrival, Zeus became aware of a soft stirring in his chest that he imagined what it must be to feel wonder, curiousity.

He levels his gaze evenly and unabashedly with the predator's eyes, considering the differences between this look and the wild one Kadaj had worn. In ways, they were the same, but the latter had been more of a pup. Zeus inclined his head slightly to the left in a rustle of great white feathers, a shiver chasing to the end of each one that cascaded down his back in response to the gathering cold of night.

God had the distinct impression this one hadn't paid attention to all of the information given upon his arrival.

And said god would be right. While Kiba remembered vaguely what Spirit had said when he first awoke it was mostly overwhelmed by his own shock and panic. And he'd let the rest of the tour pass right on by without a second glance.

"You're not a wolf, or a human. You almost smell like a bird-" he looked at the feathers shifting in the wind for a moment, then back as Zeus, "-but that's not right either." It wasn't a question, just a statement of what he'd learned so far.
