Raidou paused at the entrance, looking around. The atmosphere was pleasant. No wonder the place was popular among guests.

"Kuzunoha."
This was another nice surprise.

He tipped his hat in greeting as he approached the man. Food could wait for a while longer.
"Taking a break, I assume?"

It felt oddly nice, saying that.

After a few hours of being bored after training, Yuri made his way downtown and wandered into a bar at random, intending to just unwind a bit before his shift started. Not too much unwinding, of course, or he'd be useless in the field, but Yuri knew how he functioned best. And right now he functioned best with a cheap, starch-and-meat dinner and a beer.
As soon as he'd ordered at the bar, he caught sight of Roy, which was a bit of a surprise. Yuri wasn't exactly used to seeing his 'commanding officers' in bars. He walked over, hand raised briefly in greeting. "Hey, you expecting company?"

From the smile on Roy's face and the way he said it, it was clear that the Meister didn't mind at all.
"Back from patrol?"

In retrospect, it was a little... surreal, not doing the rounds, checking up on people, browsing the network. He suddenly had so much time on his hands.

He spotted Mustang as he went into The Northern Lights, and while Mello wasn't certain he liked the man, he was someone Mello didn't want to make an enemy of, which was novel enough to be interesting. So when he went to the bar to order his scotch, he made sure to end up close enough to converse with him.
"Colonel," he said, with a brief nod.

"Morgan. It's good to see you on your feet again."

He wasn't used to people being glad to see him, but his hyper-sensitive awareness of ulterior motives wasn't pinging at Mustang's reaction. Odd.
"Enjoying your time off?"

A bit of a lie, that: he hadn't taken one because he had felt like he couldn't afford to. There were too many things to do, too many people to protect.
Still, they had been right. He needed time for himself. He needed to recover, if he wanted to continue doing what needed to be done.
"Why don't you join me? I'll buy you a drink."

Heading straight for Roy, the young captain spoke clearly, "Roy Mustang?"

Roy blinked, eyeing the boy in front of him. No one he recognized... one of the newcomers, perhaps?
"You are?"

He crossed his arms across his chest and asked, "You lead the Watch?"

He wondered, briefly, what this guest in particular could want. It was usually a head's up on joining the group.

[In fact, here's the person to help you with just that! Have one Zack Fair, who came in simply for food, but will stay for a drink or two, unless unhealthily encouraged for even a few more. Scanning the place for a free seat, he blinked a few times at seeing Roy.
[Huh. Who knew he had a life? But it was nice, seeing him out from behind the weight of that office and position, wasn't it? Strolling on over as though he owned the place, Zack took one of the chairs, turned it backwards, and sat down with a little straddle, arms folding on the back of it. He smiled, bright and happy, a little curious.]
And here I thought you were chained to your desk. Whatcha drinking?

So, why didn't you take a trip? Get out of the desert? See the world for a few days?
