He tried to control it, though, pushing back personal feelings on the matter because he didn't want to get too out of hand. It would be fun to just beat the idiot's face into the pavement and give him a lesson on manners. Obviously he wasn't worth killing at all, and Squalo - unlike some members of his family, and what others kept insisting about him - didn't kill without a good reason.
Mindless slaughter was so boring, anyway.
With such thoughts in mind, Squalo found his way to where Nataku stood and stopped a good ways from him, considering. He smirked.]

[Wiping at his eye, he cannot deny that he is quite tired. The mission was rather long and he felt a pang of chill every so often as he thought of those that were fighting -- concern? He supposes that is what it was, but now it has faded somewhat because almost everyone has returned safely. Almost. Hm.
He lifts his head up as he realizes that it has dropped.]
I am not going to back down from you. But if you apologize for all that you have done, I will forgive you.

[Squalo grinned and kept himself smug, because Nataku clearly didn't deserve any more than that. Watson's faulty judgment aside, and he wasn't falling for that anyway. He knew better.]
